On May 5 1930, the Paraguayan Post Office released a set for use on the 1933 zeppelin post from the mainland to Recife and onwards. Under the supervision and control of Don Carlos Rocholl, designer ‘Rudolf Schwach ‘Rodolfo’ produced a set of five stamps. The three lower values show the ‘Graf Zeppelin’ flying over a tropical beach and the two higher values depict the airship flying eastwards over the Atlantic ocean from South America to Europe.
