President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, nicknamed "FDR," was born in the year 1882 in Hyde Park, New York. He became the 32nd U.S. president in 1933, and was the only president to be elected four times. Roosevelt led the United States through the Great Depression and World War II, and greatly expanded the powers of the federal government through a series of programs and reforms known as the New Deal. Roosevelt died in Georgia in 1945.
Wilhelm Richard Wagner (22 May 1813 – 13 February 1883) was a German composer world-known for his operas considered to be masterpieces. Wagner, unlike other composers of his time, wrote both the music and the libretto (lyrics and scenario) for his operas and the complexity of those puts him in the pantheon of most influential artists of all time. His unique and brilliant technique allowed plot to build individuals characters and create images, places and ideas in the most vivid way.
