ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΑ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΑ

Αναμνηστική σειρά γραμματοσήμων της σειράς του 1937, επισημασμένα με νέα αξία και μαύρο πλαίσιο, ενδεικτικό του πένθους για το βασιλιά Γεώργιο Β' (1890-1947). Η ημέρα του θανάτου του συνέπεσε με τη γιορτή για την παράδοση της Δωδεκανήσου στην Ελληνική Στρατιωτική Διοίκηση. Η αξία των 250 δραχμών κυκλοφόρησε στις 3.4.1947 ενώ οι άλλες δύο στις 15.4.1947. Η σειρά αποσύρθηκε στις 15.10.1947...
