On August 1st, 1937 the German Reichspost issued an identical miniature sheet as that issued for the previous race in 1936. There is a red overprint “1 AUGUST 1937 MÜNCHEN-RIEM” enclosed by a victor’s wreath of oak leaves with two swastikas, a horse shoe and the Reich’s eagle on the top. On the miniature sheet itself, there is a “MÜNCHEN-RIEM” watermark above the stamp and a “1936” watermark below.
