On June 26, 1943, the Reichspost issued four stamps to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the Reichsarbeitsdienst – RAD (Reich Labor Service). The stamps depict Labor Service corpsmen performing various duties. The RAD was a major organization established by Nazi Germany as an agency to help mitigate the effects of unemployment on German economy.
